Need some heavy-duty power to fuel your next job? Find it at Bob Moore GMC dealership. Our lot is stocked with a variety of trucks, from the base GMC Sierra 1500 to heavy-duty options like the Sierra 2500 and Sierra 3500. GMC’s most potent trucks offer other-worldly towing ability, tons of features and options, plus the best look of any truck on the market (in this writer’s humble opinion). Aside from power and style, we love the Sierra HD, thanks to its configuration options. Both the 2500 and 3500 are available in a wide range of options, with your choice of a standard V8 or a Turbo-Diesel V8 engine. 2025 sees some upgrades come to the Sierra HD, with front and rear parking sensors and a trailer-brake controller standard on every model. Adaptive cruise control with trailering assist is also available on more lineups but has not made its way down to the entry-level options yet. We’ll highlight all our favorite features of the Sierra HD, from towing capacity to features. Visit our OKC GMC dealership to get a new GMC truck for your company today!
The Sierra HD is, first and foremost, a work truck. It prioritizes towing capacity and payload above all else, ensuring you maximize your time and resources on the job site. Both the Sierra 2500 and 3500 have two engines to choose from:
Engine: | Horsepower: | Torque (lb-ft): |
6.6-liter gas V-8 | 401 | 464 |
6.6-liter Duramax turbo-diesel V-8 | 470 | 975 |
Both engines pair with a 10-speed automatic transmission, offering rear or four-wheel drive. At its best, the GMC 2500 for Sale can tow up to 22,500 lbs, while the GMC 3500 for sale has a max towing capacity of 36,000 lbs. We’d recommend springing for the turbo-diesel V-8 if you’ll be towing regularly, as it offers the best towing ability of the two, thanks to all the added torque. To unlock the best towing capacity, you’ll want to equip your Sierra HD with the diesel engine, a regular cab, RWD, the dual-rear-wheel axle, and a gooseneck hitch. Test drive the GMC Sierra 2500 for sale in OKC with Bob Moore GMC OKC.
The Sierra HD class comes with three cab options and two bed lengths, with a Standard 79.4-inch option and a Long 98.2-inch option. The cabs include a regular cab, a double cab, and a crew cab. For 2025, the 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 HD and the 2025 GMC Sierra 3500 HD are offered in seven trim levels:
The lineup is as diverse as the configuration options, with spartan work trucks towards the bottom of the line, designed to optimize towing prowess, while the top of the lineup offers a wide swath of luxury amenities. We’ll highlight the AT4 and AT4, both of which are designed to maximize performance offroad with features like a factory-installed suspension lift, a rear locking differential, and skid plates. At the top of the lineup sits the Denali 2500 and 3500, which provide the most luxurious driving experience GMC offers. You’ll find heated and ventilated seats, open-pore wood, and perforated leather seating in the Denali. The Denali Ultimate adds massaging seats, a Bose speaker system, and a dark chrome grille inspired by Star Wars. Test Drive a GMC 2500 Denali for sale.
GMC puts a variety of driver assistance and towing technology in the Sierra class, but our favorite is probably the available camera system. It features up to 15 different angles, including a transparent feature that allows you to see through your trailer as if nothing was there. With GMC’s towing assistance features, hitching and hauling has never been easier. Every Sierra has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with an 8.0-inch or 13.4-inch infotainment screen, depending on your trim level. You can also take advantage of GMC’s smartphone app to control your truck and trailer functionality remotely.
