2025 Sierra Electric Performance

The Sierra EV’s electric powertrain consists of a front and rear motor, which produce a total of 754 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque. It utilizes this power to rocket from 0 to 60 in under 4.5 seconds. At its most powerful, the Sierra EV can tow up to 10,000 lbs and support a payload of up to 1,450 lbs. It shares lots of similarities with its cousin, the Hummer EV Pickup, but is a bit more subtle in its deployment of them. The Sierra EV has an air suspension that raises and lowers the truck, as well as the Hummer EV’s famous crab walk feature, which turns your rear wheels in the same direction of the front wheels so you can move diagonally when parking or showing off to your friends. 

Looking at the electric performance specifically, the GMC EV offers an impressive 440 miles of max electric range, courtesy of their next-gen propulsion and battery platform. The extra range comes on the Denali Max Range trim level. The Base level Extended Range Denali has a range of 390 miles. The Sierra EV can also recover 100 miles of driving range in just 10 minutes at a public DC fast charger. Another feature unique to the GMC EV is the ability to use regenerative braking and one-pedal driving that slows the trunk when you lift off the gas pedal. GMC Sierra EV Interior & Trim Levels

For the time being, the only Sierra EV is the 2025 GMC Sierra EV Denali, which comes with one of two battery packs. GMC expects to diversify the lineup to start 2025 by adding the 2025 GMC Sierra EV Elevation and AT4, bringing the total trim levels to four. The Denali Extended Range has an MSRP of $91,995, while the Denali Max Range has an MSRP of $100,495. While no pricing has been released for the Elevation of AT4 trim levels, we expect them to be significantly more affordable. 

The Denali is one of GMC’s most well-apportioned cabins, offering a long list of luxury features and technology throughout the cabin. You can expect to find heated and ventilated leather seats, a Bose sound system, a head-up display, and a panoramic sunroof. You’ll also find a state-of-the-art safety system, a premium suspension system, and a massive infotainment display. 

2025 GMC Sierra EV Tech and Features

The Sierra’s tech-laden cabin starts with a massive 16.8-inch touchscreen that sits in the middle of the dashboard. Despite the massive screen, the Sierra still offers plenty of analog buttons and dials to control key features. You’ll also find an 11.0-inch digital cluster behind the wheel with all your core metrics, plus a wireless phone charger just under the infotainment display. GMC’s expansive driver assistance platform includes automated emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane keeping.
