2026 Yukon Towing Capacity and Powertrain
GMC’s flagship SUV is offered with your choice of three powertrains. Base models get a 5.3-liter V-8 that makes 355 horsepower. Upper models get a 6.2-liter V-8 that makes 420 horses. Every model can be equipped with a 3.0-liter inline-six diesel, generating 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque. Each model features a 10-speed automatic transmission and is available with RWD or AWD. The larger V-8 is the towing champ of the lineup, with a towing capacity of 8,400 lbs.
